Latest Guides
Farmer Role Playbook
The gather-build-defend loop that carries the majority role to a Farmer Win.
- 1
Chop trees nonstop from spawn
Wood pays for the shelter, the first farm and basically every important early structure
- 2
Commit to one base area immediately
One shared, focused base builds faster and is much safer than scattered buildings
- 3
Raise the shelter before dark
Nighttime is the most dangerous part of the round
- 4
Run chicken farms, then save for pig, cow or bee farms
The expensive farms scale gold income much faster than cheap starter coops
Build Your First Base
Wood, a chicken farm, shelter and fences β the starter sequence with documented costs.
Chop about 10 wood
The first documented build target; a chicken farm took exactly 10 wood in one run
Place the chicken farm first
The cheapest economy building β its chickens drop the gold that funds everything after
Raise the shelter early
Before the Beast starts actively hunting; nighttime is the most dangerous part
Fence the perimeter
Placed right after the shelter to control approach directions
Survive Until Sunrise
The defensive round plan from the release countdown to the sunrise win β no Beast-killing required.
- 1
Grace period
Bank a head start while the Beast is still caged
- Chop trees immediately
- Pick one base spot and commit
- 2
Before dark
Basic protection standing
- Raise the shelter
- Fence the perimeter
- 3
Early night
Gold income running
- Start chicken farms once defenses stand
- 4
Mid round
Turn farm gold into firepower
- Add turrets and ballistas on approaches
- Save for one premium farm
Beast Hunting Tactics
Tracking, seek and super speed β how the hunter catches every Farmer before sunrise.
Push the nearest zone at release
The forest splits into four zones; Farmers found late already have turrets and fences that are extremely hard to beat
Alternate footprints and seek
Seek points a direction with a distance readout β observed from 20 m to 500 m β so press it again after every miss
Save super speed for the final gap
The sprint is stamina-gated, so burn it to close the kill, not on travel
Crack bases in order
Break ballistas first so they stop shooting, then wreck farms to cut gold income
Disengage to heal
With about 500 health, restore in the forest instead of feeding a turret stack
Expect two catches per Farmer
Caught players return on a second life, so re-track your target immediately
Which Class to Pick
A conditional two-class pick: Farmer for a fresh run's survival start, max-level Lumberjack for wood.
- Your situation
- Starting a fresh run
- Documented pick

- Your situation

- Documented pick
- Lumberjack
- Why
- 3 wood per chop instead of 2, plus 25% faster chopping at max level
| Your situation | Documented pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Starting a fresh run | Farmer | Named the best way to start β stay alive while your base and economy grow |
| Gathering wood once your class is max level | Lumberjack | 3 wood per chop instead of 2, plus 25% faster chopping at max level |
Wood Gathering Basics
The harvest loop behind every build: spawn axe, forest trees, and the wood counter that pays for structures.
Chop the trees scattered around the forest with the axe you spawn with β every felled tree adds wood to your counter, and structures are paid from it the moment you place them.
- 10 wood is the demonstrated first goal β it covers a chicken farm
- A cow farm took 40 wood in one recorded run
- The max-level Lumberjack yields 3 wood per tree instead of 2 and chops 25% faster
- Chopping drains stamina, so keep enough left to sprint home if the Beast appears
